Commercial Pilot, A&P Mechanic, and Founder of Sullivair
James Sullivan's Personal History:
- Born in Delaware June 4, 1992
- Moved a lot for fathers business: including Germany where he was known for his excessively large lips
- Main hometown: York, Pennsylvania
- Graduated High School with 4.0 GPA while working various jobs including:
- Ice Cream Shop
- Line Service at local airport
- Cook for a restraunt with a mean boss
- Creating his own website for pilots
- And Many More! (obvious over achiever)
- Moved to Daytona Beach to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
- Majored in Aviation Maintence Science with a minor in Aviation Safety.

CEO Club
Airport Mangers Club
Green Flight Challenge
ECO Car Challenge
National Business Aviation Association (president for two years)
Once again, over achieving
- He was also working multiple jobs throughout the maintenance department including: student assistant and apprentice mechanic
- Graduated with a 3.6 GPA and A&P licence
- After graduation, he moved to Michigan to work for Williams International as a Field Technical Advisor
- WI wasn't a great fit, so he moved to Los Angeles where he lives now to work as an A&P Mechanic for Surf Air
- While at Surf Air he was quickly promoted to lead and training manager where he excelled
- Throughout his time at Surf Air he started creating YouTube videos to show other what it was like to live in the life of a mechanic while also teaching what mechanical issues came up

- After a year and a half, he had the opportunity to follow his true dream, becoming a pilot for Surf Air.
- One month after starting this huge career change, he wanted to keep with both of his passions and created his own maintenance company: Sullivair
At only 25 years old, it is clear to see how much he has achieved and how he has far surpassed his peers in many ways.
