New Modification Alpha Floor Protection.
The new mod, automatically disengages A. Floor if aircraft is back into normal flight envelope in following conditions:
•Current aircraft speed is greater than VLS, &
•Alpha floor conditions are not met.
Reverting thrust to the last Autothrust mode before A.Floor engagement.
In new Aircraft TOGA LK is removed . More logical and user friendly . Previously if you dropped speed thrust increased upto CLB with speed speed warning and if speed (actually AoA increased ) dropped below alpha prot it triggered alpha floor which ended in TOGA LK which needed to disengage ATHR and reengage ATHR . Airbus just increased the range of ATHR to TOGA without lock . When AoA is lowered to normal the thrust will be back where it was , in ATHR if it was in ATHR if it happened in manual thrust then in manual thrust .
